School boys are to be warned about the danger of testiculer cancer:
The disease is the most common form of cancer in young men, but few know how to recognise the symptoms.
Former national rugby player Jerry Shedden from Reading will launch an awareness campaign at a secondary school in the town on Tuesday.
He was diagnosed with testicular cancer last year, but has now recovered and is coach at Reading Abbey Rugby Club.
Early treatment can help 95% of sufferers beat the illness, which men can detect by feeling for unusual swellings or lumps in the testes0 Comments:
