Autumn crocus(Meadow Saffron):-
The scientific name : -
Colchicum L. autumnale other species used included medical and Colchicum speciosum Steven and Bulbocodium vernum L. Kiir told Gawl.

Declaration
Autumn crocus is used :-
Plant extracts are used to treat gout and related disorders of inflammation. Saffron may ease the fall hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver, and may have potential in the chemotherapy regimens. However, no clinical trials available to support the use of saffron in the fall for any signal.
Autumn crocus Dose:-
Colchicine 1 to 2 mg dose model of oral disease, gout, corresponding saffron seeds Corm 200 mg or 250 mg. Colchicine also has been studied for arthritis in the knee, and hold heat, and acquired postpericardiotomy doses similar. The narrow therapeutic index requires medical supervision. However, saffron autumn have not been studied in this dose for verification.
Contraindications:-
Inhibitors have not been identified.
Pregnancy / breastfeeding:-
Information on the safety and efficacy in pregnancy and lactation are contradictory. Avoid using.
Autumn crocus interactions:-
Avoid use in patients taking colchicine. Caution is warranted in patients on cyclosporine, gemfibrozil, and macrolide antibiotics, and St. John's Wort.
Negative reactions in the autumn crocus:-
Intestinal disorders (for example, diarrhea, steatorrhea, reversible malabsorption syndrome) are common therapeutic use following acute colchicine.
Toxicology:-
All parts are highly toxic. This may result in severe shortness of the stomach, and shock, and prevent the growth of normal cells.
Botany:-

Colchicine is the main active principle found in saffron, autumn, and is present in concentration of about 0.6% of the Crimea; concentrations may exceed 1% in the seeds. dried leaves and flowers contain the same concentration of colchicine as new parts, however, dried flowers and cereals contain 15 times as much as colchicine leaves. a variety of other related alkaloids have been isolated from plants, including the colchicerine, colchamine, colchicoside, demethyl demethylcolchifoline colchicine, cornigerine, and Colchicine is not destroyed by heat or boiling and is highly soluble in water. Colchysat is water and ethanolic extraction of fresh blossoms of Colchicum autumnale.
